New Year's!

While Christmas was fun, I really enjoyed hanging out with old friends on New Year's. The kids had a lot of fun getting to stay up late. Aiden even got a New Year's kiss.

Christmas

Since I wasn't a blogger until January here are a few pictures of Christmas. We had to wake Aiden up that morning which was weird because he rarely sleeps in.

Snow!

We have had several large winter storms lately, and while most people are complaining I'm kind of enjoying it. The Californian in me thinks I'm crazy but I think this is the most snow storms I've seen since I've lived here and kind of like having the weather. It's going to be cold either way we might as well have the snow. Don't get me wrong I still prefer warm weather, but if I bundle up and drive carefully it's not so bad. Plus everything looks much prettier with a fresh layer of snow on it.

It's great to be four!

Aiden's birthday was last Sunday and he is quick to remind everyone that he is four now. He is feeling very grown up and he has even started telling people that he will be five soon. I guess soon is a relative term, it is less than a year now. One of Aiden's favorite things to do is play the guitar and sing songs. He actually makes up pretty good songs. They are usually about friends and are structured like actual songs with beginning and ends and louder and softer parts. We did actually catch one on video so I'll have to post it sometime. As soon as I figure out how to do that.

A new addition to the family

I guess we do have some news of interest. We found out today that we are a expecting a baby boy on June 2nd. We are thrilled and Aiden is very excited to have a little brother. We have waited a very long time for this and we are very thankful for the fasting and prayers that have helped us get here.

Joining the blogworld

So I decided that I guess it's time to give in and get a blog. Plus I figure if Anne gets a blog then I need a blog, right? :) (A little sibling rivalry). I still don't think that much interesting happens in our life, but now you can all share in it. Enjoy.
