Glow Baby

Liam was jaundiced so we had to put him on this bilirubin blanket. We had a little baby that was still attached to a cord. Not to mention that he looked like a glow worm. :)

He's here!

Baby Liam was born early Friday morning at 4:38am, weighing in at a whopping 5 lbs 14 oz. and 19 in long. After daily NST's for a week for low amniotic fluid, the doctor finally decided we could not wait any longer and induced me four weeks early. (I thought it was only three weeks early, doctor says it was four.) Liam is small but that is the only sign that he was early. I never thought I'd have such a tiny baby. I'm not complaining though, I'll take delivering 5 pounders over 8 pounders. He's so small that yesterday his preemie diaper fell off of him. :) It's crazy the difference between Liam and Aiden. Speaking of the big brother, he is so excited that Liam is here. I think he's hoping he'll get big quick so he'll be a better playmate.

Day at the Zoo!

I hadn't ever been to the Hogle Zoo so it was fun to be able to take the kids there. It was a really nice day to be outside and the kids had such a good time together. I'm so glad that Travis came along, he was on 4 year old duty. He wrangled Jo and Aiden most of the time so that made it a lot easier on me.

DIY

Most of you know that we did a lot of remodeling on our house before we moved in. We spent about 6 months fixing it up. I took some before and after photos so I could have proof of all the hard work. :) We're still not completely finished. It's a work in progress.

I didn't truly get a before picture since we had already torn out the carpeting when I took these photos. This is the pile of the nasty carpet that we removed. Very few people saw the house before the carpet was gone. It was so ugly. I think each room had carpet from a different decade. I can't believe we considered keeping it. I'm so glad we found the hardwood underneath. It was a ton of work to refinish but it looks so much better (and I think our house is so much cleaner.)







Yes, that was carpet in the kitchen. I hope you can tell the difference between before and after. Now to the outside...

A little Wedding Photography

This is mostly for Angela but everyone's welcome to look. :) I had a wedding shoot just before Ang left for AZ and she came to assist me. We did this a lot. I helped her, she helped me. It was pretty fitting that her last day here was spent helping me with this wedding. I'm going to miss doing our photo shoots together. I promised her I'd post some of the images so here they are.
